Located on the southern banks of the Yarra river, Eureka is perfectly positioned for 360 degree, floor-to-ceiling views encompassing Melbourne's CBD, sports precinct, Port Phillip Bay, Docklands and everything in between. We went there in 2012 to look at Melbourne from the bird's-eye view.
The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometres stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region.
Our next stop was at Portland. We arrived there at 4pm and went to Information Centre. The lady there gave us a map and marked major points of interest. She highly recommended to visit Cape Nelson Lighthouse and long pier at Lee BreakWater Road. She also told us about Great South West Walk and suggested to have a partial walk of it.
We decided to follow her instructions and went to the pier firts.
Our first trip around Victoria. We visited Ballarat, Grampians and 12 Apostles.
